Hello! My name is Basim Hawa and I’m a rarity in these parts, being born and raised in the DC Metro Area. I live in Northern Virginia with my wife, Tiffany, and our six beautiful children. We love what the DC Metro Area has to offer in terms of historic landmarks, amazing parks and outdoor spaces, and some of the best schools in the country! This lovely area truly has it all.

I have been involved in the Washington, DC Metro Area real estate industry for over 20 years now. My expertise ranges from residential real estate to commercial ventures and new development opportunities. I graduated with Honors from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have been crunching numbers since my early childhood days, working the register at my father’s historic pizza joint in the Woodley Park/National Zoo neighborhood in Washington, DC.

I spent the majority of my real estate career with a strong team of agents at Long & Foster but am pleased to say that I recently joined the Metropolitan Realty team.
