Lena Arkawi

Originally from Scottsdale, Arizona, Lena Arkawi moved to DC over 2 years ago. After nearly 8 years of traveling and working in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, Lena is now invested in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area to help her clients reach their real estate and financial goals.
As an entrepreneurial and business savvy woman, Lena comes from a family of real estate professionals. In early 2006, she earned her real estate license in Arizona, where she mainly worked on commercial and residential investment properties.
From 2010 to 2015, Lena worked extensively in business development, public relations, and real estate for international firms and the Royal Family in Doha, Qatar and Dubai, UAE. After successfully climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro for charity in February of 2015, Lena followed her passion to work in the humanitarian field in Istanbul, Turkey. In 2016, Lena joined the United Nations in New York to help organize the first-ever World Humanitarian Summit. In mid-2016, Lena moved to Foggy Bottom to pursue her Masters at George Washington University.
Lena recently joined the Metropolitan Realty team and is excited to venture back into real estate to assist her clients. Lena is an energetic, dedicated, and people-oriented person. She enjoys researching as well as negotiating and works passionately to provide her clients with the best service possible.
Lena earned her BA in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Business and Communications from Arizona State University. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a member of Barrett, the Honors College at ASU.
Lena speaks English, Arabic, and some Spanish.
